Description QuantumDiamonds (QD) is entering its next phase: with the start of production, we are evolving from a startup into an industrial company. This transition requires an operational foundation built on clean, lean and scalable processes. Join the CEO Office and play a key role in establishing this foundation. As a Process Optimization Intern, you will map our processes in Odoo, from purchase request to bookkeeping, streamline workflows that have grown organically, and automate manual steps. You will work closely with Finance, Procurement and Manufacturing, and your work will have a direct and visible impact on our daily operations. What will you do • Map our end-to-end processes in Odoo, from purchase requests and purchasing to goods receipt, inventory, manufacturing and accounting • Analyze existing workflows with Finance, Procurement and Manufacturing, identify bottlenecks and fix them yourself instead of just reporting them • Configure and extend Odoo modules, master data and approval flows, and help decide how the ERP grows with QD • Take projects live that make a visible difference in daily work, for example barcode scanning in goods receipt and warehouse • Automate repetitive manual steps with n8n and connect Odoo to the rest of our tooling stack • Build AI agents with Claude that read documents, check data and prepare transactions • Document processes and train colleagues so new workflows are adopted and stick • Keep data quality high and help set up reporting that gives management a clear view of operations What is expected of you • You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field • You have experience with an ERP system, ideally Odoo • You understand processes in purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing, or accounting • You have experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier • Experience with LLM-based workflows or agents, scripting in Python or JavaScript, or knowledge of SQL and data modeling is a plus • Experience in a fast-growing hardware or manufacturing company is a plus • You have a hands-on mentality: you implement things yourself instead of passing on requirements • You are available for a full-time internship of 4 to 6 months and can work from our Munich office • Fluent English is required, German is a plus Our benefits • Mission: At QD, we’re driven by more than just building great products - we aim to make a lasting difference. About us QuantumDiamonds GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, develops and manufactures semiconductor inspection systems based on quantum sensing. Spun out of the Technical University of Munich in 2022, the company uses nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to map electrical current with micrometer precision inside advanced 2.5D and 3D chip architectures.
